Pancakes and Summer song..

25.2.16

Grande erro, eu sei. A meio-gás.
Grrr...

Today i fell asleep for about 10 minutes. What usually happens when I build up a few days of fatigue. And how 10 minutes make so much difference in the morning !! It was like dressing them and prepare a quick breakfast. While they eat their breakfast, I get dressed, brush my teeth and put a corrector in my dark circles only just not to scare other parents and the director himself when I leave them at the school gate. These 10 minutes meant that I had no time to eat. Big mistake, I know. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And I know it because when I don't eat so well, I am short of energy all day. Half-gas. So, after dropping them at school and do some groceries for dinner, I spoiled myself with a beautiful pancakes. The intention was to save some for my eldest son who loves it. But I have to do some more for him.
What do you give for breakfast to your children?
Schoolchildren. To this so important meal. My problem and of many other mothers, I suppose, is that what one likes the other doesn't, and the lack of time in the morning. One likes pancakes, the other doens't. One likes eggs, the other doesn't. Neither likes toasts. Yogurts is not their thing either. They eat it, but i would have to wake them up 2 hours earlier to give them time for the typical theater before eating something they are not big fans.
Sure cereals are always the winning consensus, they are faster and easier. But not necessarily healthier. Nor do i have the cereals full of chocolate. I make homemade granola. I love it. They .. not so much.
I'm really out of ideas. For me breakfast has to be hot. Eat something cold in the morning, it seems that doesn't satisfy me. And would have to be something that they seriously like it. Something that would break the typical: leave them in the dining room, go brush my teeth, get dressed, only to return and find that they have not touched the cutlery and are looking at the empty space!! Grrr ...

After the breakfast adventure, I'm ready and glued at the computer to address all pendent issues.
I'll forget these irritating pains back. When the pain goes into the leg is it already the sciatica? I'll forget this dripping nose and watery eyes. I'll forget the saturation of scarves, coats, boots, umbrellas and so on. I'll not forget the need for heat, lightness and long days with golden sunsets and I'll feed it with some jazz. The music i put when I want to focus. Great for the brain.
Have a good day you all!!
